Referring a Parent? We Make It Simple.

Seeds of Impact partners with DHR to help parents meet their ISP goals through parenting education, reunification support, and one-on-one coaching. We work with parents in recovery, parents navigating trauma, and families working toward reunification or maintaining custody.

Refer a Parent

  • Parenting Classes
    Practical, skills-based classes that build protective capacities. Parents learn age-appropriate expectations, positive discipline, routines, safety, and how to respond to a child’s needs.

    • Group or one-on-one

    • Eight sessions, 1 - 1.5 hours each

    • Certificate of completion provided

    Reunification Classes
    Focused support for parents preparing for or adjusting to reunification. Topics include rebuilding trust, managing visits, handling children’s behavior after placement, and maintaining a safe, stable home.

    • Group or one-on-one

    • Six sessions, 1 - 1.5 hours each

    • Certificate of completion provided

    Parent Coaching
    Individualized coaching that targets the specific concerns in a parent’s case plan. Coaching can supplement classes or stand alone.

    • One-on-one or small group

    • Tailored to ISP goals

    • Frequency and duration determined at intake, based on ISP goals

    • Timely contact. We reach out to referred parents within two business days.

    • Attendance verification. Available on request.

    • Progress reports. We send a final report at completion and can provide interim updates on request.

    • Certificates of completion. Issued when all requirements are met.

    • Court support. Letters upon request.

    • Clear communication. Your caseworker contact will hear from us if a parent stops attending.

    • Parents with open DHR cases (foster care, in-home, or CPS)

    • Parents in substance use recovery

    • Parents with court-ordered parenting requirements

    1. Submit the referral form. You’ll get an email confirmation right away.

    2. We reach out to the parent. We’ll make 3 contact attempts over one week.

    3. If we connect, we schedule intake and the parent begins classes or coaching.

    4. If we can’t connect, we’ll let you know so you can help us reach the parent.

  • We’re grateful to partner with DHR caseworkers to support moms on the path to reunification. Our pricing is simple and all-inclusive, so you know exactly what to expect.

    Parenting and Reunification Classes

    $175 per participant

    Each 6 to 8 week class includes:

    • Weekly instruction from a trained educator

    • All course materials and workbook

    • Attendance tracking

    • Progress updates for caseworkers

    • Certificate of completion

    Classes have a minimum of 5 participants. Every mom referred to us will be served. We’ll place your client in the next available class and keep you updated on her start date.

    One-on-One Parent Coaching

    $125 per session or $900 for an 8-session package (materials included)

    Coaching gives moms personal support for their unique situation. Each session includes notes and updates for the referring caseworker.

    How Billing Works

    Parenting and Reunification Classes ($175)

    • $100 is billed at enrollment

    • $75 is billed at completion

    One-on-One Coaching

    • 8-session package ($900): $450 billed at enrollment, $450 billed at completion

    • Single sessions ($125): billed monthly for sessions completed

    Invoice details

    • We invoice the referring county DHR office.

    • Invoices include the participant’s name and services provided.

    • Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.

    Attendance

    • Moms may miss 1 class session and still complete the program.
